Voluntary statement on the accessibility status of the M&SM Legal website.
The firm is committed to making its digital content accessible and inclusive, so that information and services can be used by as many people as possible.
Prepared and last reviewed: 28 September 2026
Conformance status
The website is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The main technical measures have been applied; an extended manual evaluation with multiple browsers, zoom levels and assistive technologies is still to be completed.
This voluntary information does not replace any formal statutory declaration, whose applicability must be verified according to the firm’s legal scope.
Measures adopted
- Semantic structure, ordered headings, page landmarks and a skip link to the main content.
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and accessible labels for controls.
- Responsive layout, text reflow, colour contrast and alternative text for informative images.
- Animations compatible with reduced-motion preferences and a keyboard-accessible cookie panel.
Known limitations
- The full test matrix with screen readers, voice control, high zoom levels and different browser and operating-system combinations is not yet complete.
- Documents or embedded content supplied by third parties may not be fully controlled by the firm. Where possible, they are selected and configured with accessibility in mind.
Assessment method
This statement is based on a technical self-assessment of templates, components, keyboard navigation and responsive layouts, supported by automated checks. Automated tools detect only some barriers and do not replace manual testing with people and assistive technologies.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you encounter a barrier, need content in an alternative format or require assistance, use the secure form. Include the page address, the difficulty, your device and browser and, if relevant, the assistive technology. Do not include unnecessary health or other sensitive information.
The firm aims to acknowledge and respond to accessibility reports within 30 days.
Review and improvement
Accessibility is reviewed after significant changes and at least annually. Barriers are prioritised according to their impact on people and access to essential content.
